Join us for a 2-hour private class, where we’ll walk you and your group through the basics of wheel throwing / hand building.

Try your hand at being a potter, and at the end of your class select your favourite piece for the studio to trim, fire and glaze for you behind the scenes!

Collect your piece at a later date, where in it will be functional and finished, and enjoy!

In a wheel throwing class, participants usually make around 2-4 pieces. At the end of the class you'll pick your favourite piece for the studio to complete behind the scenes and make food safe and functional. One piece is included in the cost of the workshop, and extras can be kept at $10/piece. Pots are ready to collect roughly 6-8 weeks after the date of your class.

We charge on a sliding scale:

10+ Persons : $80pp

8-9 Persons: $100pp

6-7 Persons: $120pp

4-5 Persons: $150pp

1-3 Persons: $250pp

Cost includes all materials and tools, a guided 2-hour private class, and the completion of 1 piece per person.

Offsite events will incur an additional $250 fee to cover transportation and set up/pack down.

Once you confirm your event, we will send you a payment link which can be completed at anytime but at minimum a week before your event date to secure your booking. After payment, any last minute changes will incur a 5% transactions fee.

Our Central Melbourne studio has 18 wheels, and a max capacity of 36 people. Our North Melbourne studio has 20 wheels, and a max capacity of 40 people.

For groups larger than 18 (Central)/20 (North Melb) we recommend organising catering so people can mingle and alternate turns on the wheels. We do not have a BYO/catering surcharge, but do ask that any catering you bring be cold foods that are easy to pack away at the end of the day. You can organise to have your catering delivered to the studio prior to your arrival on the day, but do let us know so we may be there to receive it.
